Haiti History Game (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data associated with our app.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to delete your Haiti History Game account and all associated data, you can do so using any of the following methods:
Option 1: Email Request
- Send an email to alcintechnology@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”
- Include the email address associated with your Haiti History Game account
- We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days
Option 2: In-App Account Deletion
- Open the Haiti History Game app
- Go to Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
What Data Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove the following data:
- Account information — email address, display name, and profile settings
- Quiz progress — scores, Truth Points, streak history, and difficulty preferences
- Episode progress — unlocked episodes and reading history
- Achievement data — all earned achievements and badges
- Leaderboard entries — your rankings will be removed from all leaderboards
- Notification preferences — all push notification settings
Please note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your progress, Truth Points, and unlocked episodes will be lost. If you sign up again in the future, you will start fresh.
Data Deletion Timeline
We aim to process all data deletion requests promptly:
- In-app deletion: Immediate
- Email requests: Within 30 days of receiving your request
Some anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you personally) may be retained for analytical purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Data
If you signed in using a third-party service (Google, Apple, or Facebook), deleting your Haiti History Game account removes your data from our systems. To revoke the app’s access to your third-party account, you will also need to:
- Google: Visit Google Account Permissions
- Apple: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > Apps Using Apple ID
- Facebook: Go to Settings > Apps and Websites on Facebook
